So i started my bachelor project which is masks, right now i am trying to figure out how exactly i want to work, so i am just trying different techniques

smoke screenprint

'smoke' was the first title of my screenprint class during my exchange year in Canada. i think it has between 10 and 13 layers of greyshades. at the end i tried to make it a bit more blurry, but it turned out that it would have been better to print a bit less off-register....ah next time:-)

still the drawing trip

my teacher gave me some great indian ink she brought from japan. think i have to go to japan now to get some...

oak

they had some really old oaks there! my teacher said approx. 500 years old according to the diameter of the trunk

drawing trip

last week i was on a drawing trip to the eastern part of Pomerania, which was great! I used it mainly to work on how to create light atmospheres without using color. so i took my sketchbook, some ink and acryl and made my way to the woods. drawing a real place was very helpful for me as was the reduction on black/greyshades/white.
